IU shared an update on July 20 announcing the cancellation of her planned September concert at Goyang Stadium along with a postponement of her sixth studio album release.
The singer posted a letter on BERRIZ explaining that her chronic Patulous Eustachian tube dysfunction has worsened recently. Symptoms have persisted day and night, making it difficult to maintain vocal form during rehearsals.
She stated the concert and domestic tour were canceled as a result. The album, already completed, will now launch several months later since promotions were tied to the live dates.
IU closed the message by apologizing to fans and expressing love for them. She promised a diverse new project and a fresh start together in 2027.
