Die Schauspielerin und Komikerin Meg Stalter hat im Vorfeld der Pride-Feierlichkeiten einen neuen Dance-Pop-Track namens Gay veröffentlicht. Das Lied ist die zweite Single aus ihrem kommenden Debütalbum Crave. Wie von ihr angeregt, steht der Song nun für Hörer bereit, um in Gay-Clubs gespielt zu werden.

Meg Stalter veröffentlichte den Track am 2. Juni. In dem Lied grüßt sie Lipstick Lesbians, the dolls, Bisexuelle und die they-Community, während sie erklärt, dass alles, was sie tun, slay ist. Stalter erlangte Bekanntheit durch ihre Rollen in der Fernsehserie Hacks und Lena Dunhams Too Much. Im vergangenen Monat kündigte sie das Album Crave sowie die erste Single Prettiest Girl in America an, die bei einem Doppelgänger-Wettbewerb im Maria Hernandez Park in Bushwick debütierte. Das vollständige Album Crave soll im Spätsommer erscheinen. Bis dahin ermutigt Stalter ihre Fans, die neue Single in Club-Umgebungen zu genießen.
