New Balance introduced its 5030 model in a new "Black/Black Metallic" version on July 10. The low-top shoe carries the SKU U50302J5 and retails for $160.
The shoe features a monochromatic design built on a technical mesh upper with synthetic overlays. Padded sections include debossed lines and a printed logo at the midfoot.
Underfoot, the design uses a sculpted midsole paired with a segmented outsole. Visible ABZORB SBS cushioning pods sit in the heel and midfoot areas.
The silhouette draws from early-2000s performance elements while adding modern lifestyle details. It first appeared in reports from the Japanese platform Fullress before the official release.
