New padel club opens in Cirencester for community

Padel X has launched a new padel club at the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester, open to players of all backgrounds and abilities. The facility aims to foster wellness and community through sport. It offers coaching, events, and flexible membership options.

A new padel club has launched in Cirencester, brought to the town by Padel X, an expanding network of community-focused venues. Situated on the Royal Agricultural University campus along Stroud Road, the club welcomes participants from the wider area, regardless of experience level.

The partnership between Padel X and the RAU emphasizes making high-quality sports facilities accessible to everyone. Services include professional coaching, group sessions, matchplay training, social events, and standard court bookings. Padel X describes its clubs as member-driven environments that blend competitive play with health benefits and social ties. The organization focuses on repurposing underused spaces—such as old tennis courts or rural buildings—into vibrant local centers influenced by users.

"We're creating more than padel courts," the Padel X team stated. "We're building spaces for movement, wellness and community one club at a time."

Membership comes in three tiers to match various preferences: Vamos for committed players with priority access and strong community involvement; Gancho for balanced, regular participation; and Chiquita for occasional, flexible play. Local residents can join as Founder Members for £150, gaining benefits like early booking rights, exclusive rates, coaching access, input on club development, and connection to a nationwide padel network. Registration is available via padelx.club or the Padel X app, which also provides updates on sessions and events.

For newcomers, Pay & Play options allow usage without commitment, and free introductory padel sessions run weekly.
