The updated model features a lower profile, slimmed-down toe box and crisp side panels that match the vintage version released in 2001.
Nike has produced many Air Force 1 variants over the years, including special editions with crocodile skin and Gore-Tex coatings. The new release focuses on the simple, unaltered silhouette that originally gained popularity.
The company described the effort as a return to the shoe's purest form.
