Polizeireiterteams holen Medaillen bei nationaler Meisterschaft

Mehrere Polizeiteams aus ganz Indien haben bei dem laufenden 44. All-India Police Equestrian Championship und Mounted Police Duty Meet in Tekanpur Medaillen errungen. Die Punjab Police sicherte Gold und mehrere Bronzen, während das Mysuru Mounted Police aus Karnataka am Eröffnungstag Silber und Bronze gewann. Das Event umfasst Wettkämpfe unter 15 Bundesstaaten und zentralen Kräften.

Die 44. All-India Police Equestrian Championship und Mounted Police Duty Meet findet vom 15. bis 27. Februar an der Border Security Force Academy in Tekanpur, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh statt. Teams aus 15 Bundesstaaten und zentralen bewaffneten Polizeikräften nehmen an verschiedenen Reit- und berittenen Polizeidienst-Wettbewerben teil.  n nDas Punjab-Polizei-Reiterteam unter Leitung des Managers Inderbir Singh hat stark abgeschnitten. Sie gewannen Bronze im Medley Relay Team Event mit den Reitern Jaswinder Singh (DSP auf ’Sudha’), Head Constable Prabhjot Singh (auf ’Big Star’) und Senior Constable Simranjit Singh (auf ’Shershah’). Head Constable Sandeep Singh gewann Gold im Mental Hazard Competition und erhielt den Lala BK Dey Trophy für seine Leistung. Weitere Bronzen kamen von Constable Amninder Singh im Farrier Competition, Class-IV-Mitarbeiter Vishu im Syce Competition und dem Team im Dressage (Medium)-Event.  n nAus Karnataka glänzte auch die Mounted Company der Karnataka State Reserve Police in Mysuru City. Head Constable Suresh Malali, mit 14 Jahren Dienstzeit und neun Jahren bei nationalen Reitveranstaltungen, errang Silber im Show Jumping Grade-III und Bronze im Six Bar Jumping-Event auf ’King Power’. Das Karnataka-Team, einschließlich S.D. Sasanur, Chandra, Mahesh und Suresh Malali, belegte den vierten Platz im Quadrille-Event. M.R. Sandesh und K.T. Jayaprakash sicherten den vierten Platz im Show Jumping Preliminary (Normal) und erhielten Trosturkunden.  n nMysuru City Police Commissioner Seema Latkar und hohe Offiziere gratulierten dem Karnataka-Personal.
