Members of K-Pop group Rescene addressed a netizen post about their enthusiastic eating at a family wedding buffet during a July 28 appearance on a YouTube talk show.
Woni of Rescene explained the incident on the Salon Drip series hosted by Jang Do Yeon. She said the event was her cousin’s wedding and that the group had fasted the day before.
Woni noted that guests likely did not know it was a family occasion. She added that the members each ate three plates and wanted to clarify the context publicly for the first time.
The group did not perform their song at the event. They attended briefly to offer congratulations before leaving.
Jang Do Yeon responded with a joke about the members coming only to eat, which drew laughter from the guests.
