Tesla's Gigafactory in Texas concluded the third quarter of 2025 with intense production and delivery activities. Drone footage captured hundreds of vehicles being handed over to customers on the final day. The site saw its highest inventory levels of the year, signaling a strong quarterly finish.

Tesla Gigafactory Texas pushed hard to end Q3 2025 on a high note, as evidenced by aerial observations from drone operator Joe Tegtmeyer. On September 30, 2025, the last day of the quarter, Tegtmeyer noted hundreds of vehicles being delivered directly to customers. "Hundred and hundreds of Tesla cars going to customers at Giga Texas today as part of a huge end of quarter event! Still a few hours left until midnight!" he posted on X.

Tesla actively encouraged owners to collect their vehicles at the factory for faster delivery. Days earlier, the company's North America X account shared an image of a fleet of new Model Y vehicles ready for handover, stating, "For an expedited delivery, come pick up your car at its birthplace at Giga Texas – straight off the factory line."

Production activity surged in the lead-up to quarter-end. Tegtmeyer observed full overflow and outbound lots, describing it as the busiest scene of the year. "Production & new vehicle inventory is off the charts at Giga Texas, with a full overflow lot on the E side in addition to a full & overflowing W outbound lot! This is the most new vehicles at Giga Texas at the same time than I have observed this year!" he reported.

This ramp-up underscores Tesla's focus on meeting delivery targets at its Austin facility, a key hub for Model Y production. The efforts highlight the company's strategy to boost quarterly results through on-site handovers and maximized output.
