Vans has released a new take on its Old Skool sneaker that mixes upscale tweed with a worn-in appearance. The shoe draws from luxury fashion influences while staying true to skate roots.
The Souvenir/Oatmeal model features a pre-scuffed upper paired with a tweed Jazz Stripe. It sells for 125 dollars through the brand website and echoes styles seen in past Chanel collections from the mid-1990s.
As part of its Pearlized series, Vans launches the Premium Old Skool 36 in Vintage Cocoa Brown on April 21. Featuring pearlized suede embellishments and a gloss sidewall, it's priced at $130 exclusively on Vans' website.
