Vario launches bold color variants for Futurist watches

Vario has unveiled new color options for its Futurist watch collection, drawing inspiration from 1970s space-age design. The limited-edition timepieces feature geometric aesthetics, premium materials, and high-precision movements. Priced at $648 USD, only 100 pieces are available per model.

The Vario Futurist collection pays homage to the 1970s era of space exploration and innovative watchmaking. These watches combine futuristic, angular designs reminiscent of spacecraft with reliable performance for everyday use.

Crafted from 316L stainless steel, each case measures 39 mm in diameter and 10 mm in thickness, offering a compact yet striking profile. A faceted sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating ensures clear visibility in various lighting conditions. The watches include a genuine Italian vegetable-tanned leather strap, providing comfort and versatility for formal or casual settings. They are water-resistant to 10 ATM, suitable for swimming and surface diving.

The dial stands out with a Sunburst finish that reflects light dynamically, available in intense purple, vibrant orange, or elegant black variants. Luminous hands and indexes, treated with C3 Lume/BGW9, enable readability in low-light environments. The minimalist layout features fine indexes and a subtle logo for a clean appearance.

Powering the watches is the Miyota 9039 automatic movement, equipped with 24 jewels and operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour. This caliber delivers precise timekeeping and a power reserve exceeding 40 hours.

Limited to 100 pieces per color variant, the Vario Futurist watches are positioned as exclusive investments for collectors, blending craftsmanship with modern boldness. The collection became available on March 6, 2026.
