Kendal Grey defeated Nattie to retain the NXT Women's Championship in the main event of WWE NXT on July 7. Layla Diggs also earned a title shot at the Women's North American Championship.
Kendal Grey defeated Lola Vice to capture the NXT Women's Championship in the main event of the Great American Bash on June 28. The former amateur wrestler wore gear paying homage to WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle during the match.
