Bolivia is assessing whether to integrate Tether's USDT stablecoin into its payments infrastructure amid a persistent dollar shortage. Economy Minister José Gabriel Espinoza announced the review during a Monday press conference.
The Bank of Thailand has identified suspicious stablecoin transfers linked to efforts to evade regulatory scrutiny. The central bank is working with the securities regulator to address flows of gray money.
