Surfshark has launched a native VPN app for Amazon Fire TV devices running the new Linux-based Vega OS. The update restores VPN functionality lost after Amazon shifted from Android-based Fire OS in late 2025. It brings core encryption and streaming features to the latest hardware.

Proton VPN has announced its spring and summer 2026 roadmap, promising faster speeds, enhanced security, and more servers amid rising online censorship. The updates include an improved WireGuard protocol, a redesigned Linux app with Stealth support, and over 20,000 servers across 145 countries. Product lead Antonio Cesarano emphasized making privacy easier in a challenging digital world.

VPN provider PureVPN has announced an expansion of its network by adding more than 40 new server locations worldwide, stretching from Zagreb to Auckland. The company also stated that it has optimized its servers in Switzerland.
