The collision occurred Saturday in Eau Claire County as Clark and another woman drove home from a funeral. Johnson allegedly had a blood alcohol content more than twice the legal limit.

A 59-year-old Wisconsin man faces attempted first-degree intentional homicide charges after allegedly strangling his girlfriend while she ate gelato in bed, police said. The woman's son called 911 reporting she was being choked, and officers found her with injuries including red marks on her neck. The suspect claimed self-defense, saying he had no other option.

A Wisconsin jury has convicted 23-year-old Tremaine Jones of first-degree intentional homicide in the death of Milwaukee Police Officer Kendall Corder. The shooting occurred last June after Jones responded to a fight between two women. Jones faces life in prison at his sentencing on June 12.
