AMC Entertainment Holdings posted higher revenue and profits for the second quarter of fiscal 2026. The company saw revenue rise 14.2 percent to 1.60 billion dollars. Its stock closed up 26.8 percent on the day of the announcement.

AMC reported adjusted net profit of 105.7 million dollars and adjusted earnings per share of 14 cents. EBITDA reached 321.4 million dollars while net debt fell to 3.19 billion dollars.

Attendance grew 13.5 percent year over year even as the company operated fewer theaters. The gains came from stronger box office performance and increased food and beverage sales.

An analyst upgraded the stock to a soft buy citing the industry recovery, better cash flow and continued debt reduction.
