Ascaro Padel Club opens in Kuala Lumpur with DALI audio

Ascaro Padel & Social Club has launched its flagship venue at TREC in Kuala Lumpur, incorporating an advanced audio system from Danish Audiophile Loudspeaker Industries (DALI). The setup enhances both sporting activities and social gatherings in the entertainment district. Designed for flexibility, the system supports everything from daily operations to large events.

The 1,115m² facility at TREC Kuala Lumpur combines professional padel courts with areas for food, beverages, and socializing. To meet the needs of this versatile space, installers selected a DALI audio solution that spans indoor, semi-open, and outdoor zones. This includes 26 GARDIAN outdoor loudspeakers for broad coverage on courts and external areas, plus nine PHANTOM E-80 WR weather-resistant in-ceiling speakers for even sound in covered sections. A DALI AMP-4750 multichannel amplifier powers the entire setup.

Raj Tillak Bahadur, DALI's regional sales and marketing manager for APAC, highlighted the integration: “At DALI, we believe sound should support how people move, connect and experience a space. ASCARO’s flagship club is a perfect example of a modern lifestyle venue and our solution was designed to complement its energy – from intense match play to relaxed social moments.”

The system divides into eight zones—covering courts, food and beverage spots, lobby, pool, open areas, and amenities—each with independent volume controls. It features dual inputs for routing, including options for DJ setups and wireless microphones during events. WiiM CI streamers and an Allen & Heath GR4 mixer manage streaming, mixing, and sources, all linked to the DALI amplification.

Speakers blend seamlessly into the architecture: black GARDIAN units mount discreetly on outdoor walls, while white E-80 WR models sit unobtrusively in ceilings. The project spanned six months, from planning to commissioning. DALI's technology also equips the ASCARO club in Cambodia, ensuring uniformity across sites.
