Carpet Company shows unreleased Salomon sneaker colorway

Baltimore-based Carpet Company has shared images of a white and red version of its Salomon XT-Whisper Void collaboration that did not reach production.

Co-founder Osama Abdeldayem posted the sample on Instagram nearly a week after the official “Habibi Express” pair launched. The unreleased design features an iridescent white upper over a black mesh base with bright red accents on the Salomon branding and midsole. Abdeldayem noted in the caption that the colorway “didn’t make the cut.”
