Chile's national football team, La Roja, has confirmed a second friendly match for the June FIFA window in Europe. Coached by Nicolás Córdova, the team will face the Democratic Republic of Congo in Spain after playing Portugal.
The ANFP announced on Wednesday that La Roja will play a friendly against the Democratic Republic of Congo on Tuesday, June 9, at the Estadio Municipal Ciudad de La Línea in Cádiz, Spain. The venue holds nearly 11,000 spectators. The match takes place while the team is in Europe for the FIFA window.
Earlier, on Saturday, June 6 at 1:45 p.m. Chile time, La Roja faces Portugal at the Estadio Nacional in Oeiras, near Lisbon. Portugal will use the game to prepare for the 2026 North America World Cup, starting days later.
The Democratic Republic of Congo also qualified for the World Cup, sharing Group K with Portugal, Colombia, and Uzbekistan. Chile, not attending the tournament, completes its June schedule with these two opponents.
