Devo and the B-52’s have extended their Cosmic De-Evolution Tour with eight new shows across North America this fall. The co-headlining run, which appeared to conclude in London and Manchester, now includes additional stops in Seattle, Vancouver, and other cities. DJ Cummerbund will open the new dates.
The bands announced the additions on June 22. The itinerary features performances at arenas and amphitheaters including the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle on September 25 and Rogers Arena in Vancouver on September 27.
Other new dates include shows in Tinley Park, Illinois; Grand Rapids, Michigan; Shakopee, Minnesota; Ridgefield, Washington; Chula Vista, California; and Palm Desert, California. The extension follows previous additions to what both groups have described as farewell tours.
B-52’s singer Fred Schneider previously noted that the band would perform in select situations despite avoiding major tours. The groups have continued to add dates incrementally since their initial farewell announcements in 2022 and 2023.
