Days after her Met Gala debut, London-based designer Dimitra Petsa of Di Petsa teamed up with the soon-to-open Selene eatery in SoHo for a large Friday night dinner celebration.
The event honored Petsa’s Greek heritage with Mediterranean dishes including homemade bread, pita, hummus, taramasalata, hamachi crudo, tuna tartare, and grilled octopus. Guests wore the label’s signature hand-draped wet-look pieces, which had appeared on the Met Gala red carpet worn by model Ashley Graham and actress Laura Harrier earlier in the week. Petsa’s designs were also featured in the museum’s new Costume Art exhibit under the Fashion is Art theme.
