Up front, captain Kylian Mbappé is joined by Ousmane Dembélé, Michael Olise, Marcus Thuram, Rayan Cherki, Bradley Barcola, Désiré Doué, Maghnes Akliouche and Jean-Philippe Mateta. Randal Kolo Muani, Eduardo Camavinga and Corentin Tolisso were omitted.

Deschamps stressed the need for balance and playing time. « We are among the favourites », he said, while highlighting preparations for high temperatures.
