Restaurants at Walt Disney World made numerous menu alterations as May began. In Magic Kingdom, Plaza Ice Cream Parlor added toppings like M&M’s Milk Chocolate Minis, Peanut Butter Candy Pieces, Toffee Candy Bar Pieces, and Cookies and Cream Crumbles, each for $0.99. Cinderella’s Royal Table revised descriptions for dishes such as Grilled Steak and Egg and Roasted Lamb Chops, removed Chicken Roulad, and added Chicken Cottage Pie along with the Enchanted Grove Lime Splash beverage for $6.29. Plaza Restaurant raised the price of its Cookies ‘n Cream Milk Shake to $9.50 from $9.00. Cove Bar at Disney’s Contemporary Resort removed Frosé and Turkey Bacon Swiss Cheese Sandwich while adding Cold Fashioned cocktail for $18 and new sandwiches like Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, and Avocado for $11.49. In EPCOT, Coral Reef Restaurant removed Pineapple-Coconut Bread and Plantain Chips and Seafood Boil, then added Seafood Mac and Cheese for $38. Akershus Royal Banquet Hall eliminated some vegetable sides and Apple Cake from allergy-friendly options. Chefs de France adjusted prices and descriptions, such as Salade de chèvre chaud now at $15.95, and introduced Salade de Saison for $12.95 and Blinis de Saumon fumé for $18.95. Teppan Edo increased sushi prices, including Volcano Roll to $24.50. At Disney Springs, Morimoto Asia hiked prices on items like Blistered Shishito Peppers to $14 and Morimoto Peking Duck to $85, removed Ghost Dumpling and others, and added Lobster Singapore Noodles for $34 and new cocktails. Wine Bar George raised Seasonal Puff Tart to $11. Terralina Crafted Italian added pizzas like Hot Honey Pepperoni for $23, pastas such as Rigatoni Bolognese for $30, and entrees including Flat Iron Steak for $45, while removing several items. The BOATHOUSE upped Dockside Shrimp Boil to $29.50 and added Dockside Seafood Boil for $67.50. Vivoli il Gelato introduced Guinness Gelato and Orange Blossom Honey, among other flavors and shakes. These changes coincide with Big Thunder Mountain Railroad reopening on May 3 after over a year of closure and V.I.Passholder Days events.
