Shatara Michelle Ford's sophomore feature film will open in New York and Los Angeles this summer ahead of a wider U.S. rollout.
Lunette Films is handling booking and distribution for the project. The film follows a group of queer friends in their mid-30s on a road trip and explores themes of chosen family and self-discovery through a mix of humor and emotional depth. It previously screened at festivals including BlackStar, Berlin and the Champs-Élysées Film Festival in Paris, where it received a Critic’s Prize.
