Eliano urges Persib to stay vigilant against Persijap

Persib Bandung midfielder Eliano Reijnders stressed that his team must stay focused and not underestimate Persijap Jepara in the final match of the Super League 2025/2026.

Eliano said Persib only needs a draw to clinch the title yet he rejected any idea of playing it safe. He insisted the match against Persijap at Stadion Gelora Bandung Lautan Api on Saturday 23 May 2026 must be treated like a big final.

“ This is like a big final match. We have to win and after that we can celebrate with the Bobotoh,” Eliano said as quoted from the official Persib website. He added that Persijap has shown impressive form in the second round and secured several victories.

Persib currently leads the standings with a two-point advantage over Borneo FC Samarinda. A win or draw would be enough to secure the trophy provided the head-to-head record remains favorable. Eliano hopes the Bobotoh supporters will fill the stadium and offer full backing.
