Esteban Ocon stated he has nothing to announce yet regarding his Formula 1 future ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix. The Haas driver has scored just three points in the first 10 rounds of the 2026 season.
Ocon, 29, spoke in Budapest before this weekend's race, which comes ahead of the summer shutdown when many driver contracts for 2027 are often decided. His deal with Haas expires at the end of 2026, and the team is considering alternatives including Leonardo Fornaroli and Rafael Camara to partner Oliver Bearman.
The Frenchman has faced a difficult period, finishing 15th in the 2025 standings and trailing his rookie teammate by three points that year. Bearman now leads Ocon by 15 points in 2026, with Ocon's only points coming from races in Japan and Monaco.
Ocon described the season as his most difficult first half in Formula 1, citing inconsistencies with the VF-26 car and various issues that have prevented better results. He said discussions about his future would begin with Haas, though many options remain open.
