In Addis Ababa, on Hidar 20, 2018 (FMC), the Ethiopian Football Federation (EFA) is currently holding its inaugural 17th general assembly. Discussions on the 2017 plan implementation report are taking place, and the report indicates that the total revenue in the budget year exceeded 357 million Birr.

The federation, which generated a profit of 27 million Birr in the 2016 budget year, has recorded a profit of 59.8 million Birr in the previous budget year. This reflects the federation's financial performance through increased revenue and profits.

EFA's chief executive director, Ato Bahru Tilahun, stated that various activities have been undertaken to enable clubs to meet FIFA's club licensing requirements. This effort aims to improve club standards and elevate them to international levels.

Over 123 million Birr was spent on the Ethiopian men's and women's senior national teams for domestic and international competitions, as reported. This expenditure supports the teams in participating in various tournaments.
