Funeral for Derek Li, father of injured dancer Mo Li, set for June 6

The funeral for Reverend Derek Li Shing-lam, father of dancer Mo Li Kai-yin, will take place on June 6 at St Andrew’s Church in Kowloon.

The family announced the details on Saturday. The service begins at 10:30 a.m. and will be led by Archbishop Andrew Chan Au-ming, with Pastor Ng Sui-lung delivering the sermon.

Reverend Derek Li had long advocated for his son after Mo Li suffered spinal injuries when a large video screen fell during a Mirror concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum on July 28, 2022.
