The Bristol band Getdown Services have announced their second album, Massive Champion, due for release on August 14 via Breakfast Records. The group also shared the new single I Can’t Die Like That and outlined an extensive schedule of UK festival and tour dates.
Getdown Services appeared on Later… with Jools Holland earlier this week, performing the track The Radiator, which will feature on the new record. Frontman Ben Sadler and the band described the album as an odyssey of anarchic joy, seditious wit and boundless energy, noting that it explores themes of self pity and efforts to clean up their act after relentless touring.
