A Goldman Sachs report projects that China, India and the United States will lead the world's economies in 2075. The study examines 104 countries and places Colombia in 27th position.
The bank published the report The Path to 2075 on July 5, 2026. According to its projections, China will reach a GDP of 57 trillion dollars, followed by India with 52.5 trillion and the United States with 51.5 trillion.
Indonesia, Nigeria, Pakistan and Egypt occupy the next places, with values between 13.7 and 10.4 trillion dollars. These emerging economies drive regional growth thanks to demographic factors.
Brazil appears as Latin America's largest economy in eighth place with 8.7 trillion dollars. Colombia ranks 27th with a projected GDP of 2.6 trillion dollars, ahead of Poland and Argentina.
