Following the initial announcement of major originals like A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (premiering Jan. 18), The Pitt season 2 (Jan. 8), and Industry season 4 (Jan. 11), HBO Max has revealed additional January 2026 additions. HBO Max (formerly Max) kicks off January 2026 with over 100 new titles. On Jan. 1, classics arrive including Fargo (1996), Taxi Driver, John Wick, the Twilight Saga, All This and Heaven Too, and Blazing Saddles.

Reality TV dominates early: House Hunters Volume 20 season 249 and Lakefront Bargain Hunt Renovation seasons 4-5 on Jan. 2; Home Town season 10 on Jan. 5; Baking Championship: Next Gen season 1 and Haunted Hospitals season 4 on Jan. 6; 1000-lb Sisters season 8 and Moonshiners season 15 on Jan. 7.

The centerpiece remains A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms season 1 (Jan. 18), the breezy Game of Thrones spin-off starring Peter Claffey as hedge knight Ser Duncan and Dexter Sol Ansell as squire Egg.
