HDP launches Grand Lane residential project in New Cairo with EGP 50bn investments

Housing and Development Properties (HDP), the real estate arm of the Housing and Development Bank, has announced the launch of its new residential project, Grand Lane, in New Cairo, with total investments estimated at approximately EGP 50 billion. The project spans 98 feddans and offers a diverse mix of residential units, prioritizing open green spaces and community amenities.

Housing and Development Properties (HDP), the real estate development arm of the Housing and Development Bank, has launched Grand Lane, a new residential project in New Cairo backed by investments of about EGP 50 billion. Covering 98 feddans, the development allocates just 13% of the land to construction, reserving 87% for open green spaces, pedestrian pathways, and community services.

The integrated master plan incorporates commercial zones, a social club, landscaped gardens, and various recreational facilities. It features around 5,200 square meters of water elements, offering open views to nearly 80% of the units, along with swimming pools and underground parking. A 1.7-kilometer central green corridor, dubbed the Green Spine, runs through the site to boost connectivity and walkability.

Residential options include one- to three-bedroom apartments ranging from 68 to 195 square meters, townhouses from 169 to 203 square meters, and standalone villas between 235 and 251 square meters. During the launch phase, HDP provides flexible payment plans with down payments as low as 5% and installments stretching up to 14 years.

The company has partnered with US-based OBMI for architecture and urban planning, as well as DMA for design and engineering consultancy, to ensure the master plan meets international standards in planning, sustainability, and design.

Amgad Hassanein, HDP's Vice Chairperson, stated: "The company aims to develop integrated residential communities that enhance quality of life through sustainable design and comprehensive services." CEO Hossam Eissa added: "Grand Lane is designed to create a balanced residential environment that seamlessly integrates housing, everyday services, and expansive green spaces within a unified urban framework."

This launch aligns with HDP's strategy to grow its portfolio of residential developments in Egypt's new urban communities.
