The ICA Kvantum store in Nässjö was forced to close after heavy rain caused flooding throughout the premises. A customer on site described how water poured in through the ceiling within minutes.
Johanna, 34, was in the newly built section of the store with her daughter when heavy rain began outside. Water suddenly poured through the ceiling and covered the entire floor within minutes.
Store staff attempted without success to collect the water using a trash can. Johanna left the premises quickly due to concerns about electrical wiring.
Pehr Lundberg, sales manager at ICA Kvantum Nässjö, confirmed the store remains closed until further notice. He stated staff are working to remove the water and hope to reopen soon.
