The fight took place at the Eko Convention Centre. Campos, fighting on African soil, finished the bout early to make a statement in the featherweight division.
Other results from the card included Karim Henniene submitting Thimna Mhlauli with an anaconda choke at 2:23 of round one. Elisandra Ferreira defeated Juliet Ukah by armbar submission at 1:39 of the second round.
