Indonesia's women's national team retained the AFF Women's Cup 2026 title with a 5-0 victory over Laos in the final held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Wednesday (22/7/2026).
PSSI chairman Erick Thohir expressed pride in the achievement. "Congratulations to all the players, coaches, and officials of the Indonesia women's national team for this extraordinary achievement," he said in an official statement.
The final took place at UiTM Stadium, Shah Alam. Indonesia took the lead through a goal by Sydney Hopper in the 33rd minute. Isabelle Nottet doubled the advantage in the 48th minute, followed by Estella Loupatty in the 55th minute.
Felicia de Zeeuw scored the fourth goal in the 67th minute, while Emily Nahon completed the scoring in the 83rd minute. Coach Satoru Mochizuki's team also secured a spot in the AFF Women's Championship 2027 alongside Laos and Singapore.
