The event took place as the company's sixth Sampedrito in Huila and the first to unite the two regional plants. Five candidates represented different areas and Leidy Johana Burbano, from the administrative area, was crowned Señorita Italcol 2026. Italcol managers highlighted the goal of strengthening human bonds and preserving traditions. Alejandro Ramírez Sierra, regional manager, noted that the event is part of the Opita DNA and seeks to elevate the region's culture. The company, founded in 1970, operates in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Panama. Ronald Villalobos and Jacqueline Tovar explained that the focus on corporate well-being allows employees to voluntarily choose to stay with the organization.
