Scottish singer Jacob Alon discussed a new collaboration with Kae Tempest during an interview at the Ivor Novello Awards. The pair recently worked together in the studio on an unspecified project.
Alon spoke to NME backstage at the awards on May 21, where they won the Rising Star trophy and Best Song Musically and Lyrically for ‘Don’t Fall Asleep’. They described Tempest as one of their absolute heroes and noted that the two had been writing together that week. Alon added they had never felt closer to another creative mind before and called it the biggest privilege to witness his genius.
