Somi explained that she writes the word “fat” on sticky notes and places them throughout her home. She said the notes serve as a reminder to control herself when opening the fridge or moving around the house.
The video was posted recently and clips were shared widely on X starting June 14. Viewers accused the method of promoting toxic behavior and fatphobia, particularly because it was shared with younger idols and a broad audience of fans.
Multiple users posted reactions calling the advice inappropriate for a 17-year-old participant and for public broadcast. Somi stated she was not forced to use the technique but adopted it voluntarily.
