Västerås IK has confirmed the early termination of forward Kim Rosdahl's contract. The 30-year-old leaves with one year remaining on a three-year deal.
The club announced the buyout on Wednesday. Rosdahl joined VIK ahead of the 2024/25 season and appeared in 96 games across two years in the HockeyAllsvenskan.
In the most recent campaign he recorded 22 points in 37 matches. Assistant sports chief Stefan Holmgren thanked the player for his contributions and wished him success ahead.
Rosdahl expressed gratitude to teammates and supporters in a statement. He previously played in the SHL for Oskarshamn, Rögle and Malmö, and had a strong season with MoDo in the HockeyAllsvenskan.
His next club has not been confirmed.
