A new Kodak-branded point-and-shoot camera has been introduced as an accessible option for film photography beginners. The device, made by Reto, sells for $35 and features a simple fixed-lens design with a protective slide cover.
The Kodak EC35 includes a 25mm lens set at a fixed f/10 aperture and a shutter speed of 1/100 second. It also has a built-in flash that uses one AA battery.
The camera is available in seven colors: Midnight Black, Vanilla White, Butter Yellow, Lavender, Powder Blue, Blush Pink and Avocado. Buyers can purchase it alone or bundled with a roll of Kodak Ultramax 400 film for an additional $10.
This model offers a lower price point than previous Reto cameras under the Kodak name, such as the $100 Kodak Snapic A1 and the $50 Ektar H35 half-frame camera.
