Kriti Sanon stepped into Ally for the Cocktail sequel. She pulled inspiration straight from director Homi Adajania for that liberated, non-judgmental vibe.
She told Filmfare she doesn't see herself as cool. "There’s no preparation that you can do for coolness. It’s a state of mind," Kriti admitted. Ally travels solo and owns the room without trying.
Comparisons to Deepika's Veronica? Kriti expects them but stays chill. "Why would I play the same character that Deepika has already done?" she asked. The characters share some free-spirited energy yet remain distinct.
The fresh story and conflicts set Ally apart completely.
