Kuwait has received the Best Organization Award for hosting the World Padel Doubles Championship. The honor was presented at the 2025 Padel España Awards ceremony in Madrid. Tournament director Mishaal Al-Ansari highlighted the support from national leadership as key to the success.
On January 31, 2026, Kuwait was recognized at the 2025 Padel España Awards in Madrid for its outstanding organization of the World Padel Doubles Championship. The event took place from November 3 to 9, 2025, and Kuwait's efforts outshone those of established padel hosts including France, Italy, Mexico, and Spain.
Mishaal Al-Ansari, the tournament director, attributed the achievement to robust backing from Kuwait's leadership. He stated that the global recognition reflects “the strong support from Kuwait’s wise leadership and the coordinated efforts of national institutions, which enabled the championship to be delivered at a world-class level, befitting Kuwait’s reputation and status.”
This award underscores Kuwait's growing stature in international sports hosting. Al-Ansari noted that it “carries great organizational and symbolic value and reinforces Kuwait’s position as a leading host of international sporting events.” He expressed gratitude to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah for their pivotal guidance and support, which ensured the tournament's high standards.
The recognition highlights the collaborative work of Kuwait's institutions in elevating the nation's profile through sports events, setting a benchmark for future international competitions.
