Khvicha Kvaratskhelia expressed optimism that Paris Saint-Germain can defeat Arsenal and retain the Champions League title in the final at Puskas Arena in Budapest on Saturday (30/5/2026).
The Georgian winger stressed the importance of PSG's status as defending champions. “All of this is very important, and we understand that we are the defending champions and can win again,” Kvaratskhelia told UEFA.
PSG would become the first team other than Real Madrid to retain the title since the modern Champions League format began in the 1992/1993 season if they win. Madrid won three consecutive titles from 2016 to 2018.
Kvaratskhelia recorded himself as the most productive player in this season's knockout stage with seven goals and three assists. He also became the first player to score or assist in seven consecutive knockout games in the Champions League in one season.
