Lando Norris led the way in the second practice session for the Barcelona Grand Prix, beating George Russell by 0.009 seconds. Oscar Piastri finished third for McLaren.
Norris set a lap time of 1m15.426s on soft tyres at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The McLaren driver overcame several slides to claim the top spot.
Russell, who topped the earlier session, came closest to Norris after switching to soft tyres. Piastri was 0.057s slower than his team-mate.
Charles Leclerc placed fourth for Ferrari, 0.373s off the pace. Championship leader Kimi Antonelli ended the session fifth.
Several drivers reported issues with tyre wear during longer runs, which may affect race strategy.
