Laura Zapata said the moral damage lawsuit against influencer Kunno is already underway, though he has not yet been notified due to the court vacation period.
The actress explained that the legal process is moving forward and that Kunno will end up regretting his comments. She said he will answer for his words and that the case seeks to set a precedent for public figures to take responsibility.
Zapata rejected Kunno's statements that the lawsuit would not prosper. “No se me hace correcto ni siquiera lo que dijo. Pero va a pagar, de muchas formas”, she declared.
The conflict arose after Kunno's comments on La Casa de los Famosos All-Stars, where he insinuated that the 2002 kidnapping suffered by Zapata and her sister Ernestina Sodi was an autosecuestro. The actress reiterated her trust in justice and preferred to resolve the matter through legal channels.
