Linköping HC nears final roster addition

Linköping HC is closing in on one more forward to complete its lineup ahead of the season. General manager Andreas Hägglund said the club is in talks with several players and could make an announcement before the end of the week.

The team already has signed center Cooper Marody to fill a key role. It now seeks additional forward depth, with a preference for a right-shot center but openness to a winger if that brings the best available talent.

Hägglund confirmed ongoing dialogues with players who interest both sides. He added that the club is getting closer to a deal.

On forward Remi Elie, who dealt with injuries last season, Hägglund reported no current concerns. The medical staff will provide a full update once Elie returns to Sweden.
