LVMH CEO Arnault to visit Seoul next week

LVMH Chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault is expected to visit South Korea next week for the first time in three years.

Industry sources said Arnault is scheduled to visit the Louis Vuitton Visionary Journeys Seoul store inside Shinsegae Inc.'s flagship department store in central Seoul on Monday.

The store, which features exhibition spaces and restaurants, opened recently. He is also expected to tour other Louis Vuitton outlets at department stores run by Lotte Group.

South Korea ranks among the world's top markets for personal luxury goods, with per capita spending estimated at $325 in 2022.
