Mad Cool Festival has announced a new transport plan for its 2026 edition, featuring extended public transport services and free shuttles to assist attendees traveling to and from the site.
The plan, developed in coordination with Madrid City Council and various police authorities, includes extended hours on Madrid Metro Line 3 and Cercanías Line C4. Metro services will run until 2am on Thursday and until 3am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings, with departures from Villaverde Alto station.
Cercanías Line C4 will offer extended operations and special free services from Villaverde Alto to Atocha with no intermediate stops. A free shuttle bus service will also run to Madrid city centre during the same late-night hours.
The festival, marking its 10th anniversary, is scheduled to take place from July 8 to 11 at the Iberdrola Music Villaverde site. Additional measures include designated bus lines, a single taxi rank, and pedestrian safety features with stewards on site.
