Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced financial assistance of ₹5 lakh each to families of three men who died in 2003 Bhojshala protests.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav made the announcement on May 25, 2026, during a visit to the Bhojshala site in Dhar. He performed worship at the location and described the recent High Court verdict as the result of a 750-year-long struggle.
The court had ruled the site a temple dedicated to goddess Vagdevi ten days earlier. Yadav also announced plans to build a Saraswati Lok corridor and the Raja Bhoj Research Institute.
The three men who died in the February 2003 protests were identified as Van Singh Araadi, Lakshman Singh, and Anwar Singh. Yadav laid the foundation for development projects worth more than Rs 88,000 crore in the district.
