Maxfli has announced a three-year extension of its partnership with three-time PGA Tour winner Ben Griffin, continuing their collaboration that began in 2024. Griffin, currently ranked ninth in the world, will exclusively use Maxfli's Tour X ball and debut the new Tour X-LS model at the upcoming WM Phoenix Open. The deal underscores Maxfli's commitment to performance innovation in golf equipment.
On February 4, 2026, Maxfli, a golf brand with over a century of history, revealed the renewal of its endorsement deal with Ben Griffin, extending it through 2028. This three-year agreement builds on the successful partnership initiated in 2024, during which Griffin rose dramatically in the rankings, climbing from 92nd to ninth in the Official World Golf Rankings.
Griffin, a three-time PGA Tour champion in 2025, achieved notable milestones that year, including victories in three events, strong showings at the U.S. Open, selection as a captain's pick for the U.S. Ryder Cup team, and a nomination for the Jack Nicklaus Player of the Year award. As part of the extension, he will serve as Maxfli's brand ambassador, featuring the company's logo on his hat and golf bag while exclusively playing the Maxfli Tour X ball.
This weekend at the WM Phoenix Open, Griffin will introduce Maxfli's latest innovation, the Tour X-LS ball—a lower-spin version of the Tour X with redesigned core and mantle layers for enhanced performance. The ball will launch in limited quantities this summer, available exclusively at DICK'S Sporting Goods and Golf Galaxy for $39.99 per dozen as part of the Maxfli Tour Series, which includes the Tour, Tour X, and Tour S models designed for faster ball speeds and greater distance.
"Maxfli has been with me through some of the most pivotal moments of my career," Griffin said. "Their commitment to performance and quality gives me the confidence to perform at the highest level every week."
Aimee Watters, Vice President of Brand for Vertical Brands at DICK'S Sporting Goods, added, "Ben's journey is nothing short of inspiring. His resilience and drive perfectly reflect the values we champion at Maxfli. We're proud to have him represent our brand and continue this partnership as he reaches new heights in his career."
To highlight the partnership, Maxfli launched the "Say Less" campaign, featuring Griffin in ads that debut on Golf Channel during the WM Phoenix Open and extend across broadcast, social, and streaming platforms. This initiative celebrates Griffin's return to the PGA Tour and aligns with Maxfli's resurgence, including its 2025 reentry into clubs with the XC2 and XC3 irons and planned 2026 expansions. Maxfli products are sold exclusively at DICK'S Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy, and select pro shops.
