McLaren will test its upside-down rear wing during practice at this weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix alongside a major upgrade package.
The McLaren Formula 1 team plans to introduce a redesigned floor and additional aerodynamic parts to its MCL40 at the Budapest round.
Team senior director of racing Randy Singh said the upgrades will allow the squad to gather data during free practice sessions.
Team boss Andrea Stella noted that development has been strong and that Hungary marks the start of further performance gains.
McLaren also confirmed its version of the experimental 'Macarena' rear wing will debut in FP1 but will be removed for the rest of the weekend.
